My friend, Adam, sent me a copy of Tony Schwartz’s The Way We’re Working Isn’t Working: The Four Forgotten Needs That Energize Great Performance (amazon affiliate link). It’s the kind of book I’m afraid people will buy but not read, or that you’ll read it but not do what it recommends. There’s a lot in it, and I think it’s a very worthwhile book to check out. Essentially, Mr. Schwartz believes we’re not doing enough to take care of ourselves during any given work day (and I think he’s right).
The book throws you some neat turns, including a lot of nutrition advice. I think overall, it’s a must read, especially if you want to get more out of your day while reducing your stress. I’m already seeing some changes after trying some of his advice. Am I always perfect to what the book recommends? No. On the day I shot this video, I forgot to eat breakfast. Watch the video for more.
People always ask which camera I used to shoot my video. I use the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 (that’s a review of the camera).
