Chris Brogan in the Classroom

Bring a New York Times Bestselling Author to the Classroom

I love to present to classrooms in person or virtually, and have offered this service free of charge to accredited schools since 2014. (Sorry: not businesses that have a class function. You have to pay.)

What Types of Classes Do You Offer?

Depending on the age of the students and the class curriculum, I’m quite flexible. I’ve taught elementary school students about creativity and the basic elements of storytelling. I’ve taught grad students about entrepreneurship, online business, writing (creative or business or both), content creation, video, and podcasting.

If your topic isn’t listed, I’m pretty sure I can cover it, and if not, I’ll let you know for sure.

What Is the Experience Like?

Whether in person or online, I love to deliver energy, humor, encouragement, and an extreme level of personable interaction. I love talking to people by name. I love hearing people’s stories. And I encourage a lot of interaction at any age. (I taught a room full of US Navy people and they were pretty hush hush the whole time, but most groups tend to be really energetic and respond well.)

I will tell weird age-appropriate jokes. I will make pop culture references that make your students smirk or laugh but that teachers might look awkwardly at each other for not getting the reference. (Teaching in person up in Maine, a whole lot of sixth graders and I got into a rather heated discussion about Fortnite, CoD, and Halo and plenty of teachers smiled politely as the kids got more and more wound up and happy.)

We Want to Teach One of Your Books!

Awesome. Buy some books. Buy ALL THE BOOKS! Do it! And I *love* to teach from my own books, but we don’t have to. It’s up to you. (Look: sometimes having a guest teacher in is just about entertainment. I’m good with either way.)

Is It Free?

Yes. To accredited educational institutions. (The Big Corp school of training department has to pay.)

Can We Record You?

Sure. Why not? It’s not like you can make millions selling bootleg copies of me telling your class that marketers ruin everything. 😉

Wait. I’m in Another Country

Lucky you! But don’t worry. If I can figure out the schedule, we can get it done.

Okay. Okay. Let’s Do It!

Music to my ears. Drop me an email: [email protected] . It’s that easy. Say you’re looking to book me in your classroom, and then we’ll figure out the schedule. It really is that easy.

One Last Thing: Who ARE You?

Oh. Right. Chris Brogan (that’s me) is the New York Times bestselling author of nine books and counting. He’s a business advisor to a lot of the brands you know, and has delivered over a thousand keynotes all over the world. He has been on the Doctor Phil show, interviewed legendary people like Sir Richard Branson and Paulo Coelho, and once even presented to a princess. (Ask him about it!)

Okay? Okay. Come get me!
