The Coronavirus has pushed a lot of organizations to consider letting their employees (at least some of them) work remotely. But if your management and leadership teams haven’t worked in this fashion before, there are likely to be some bumps in the road, some missing steps, and a LOT of wasted time.
For instance, if your management style requires a lot of high touch and check-ins, this doesn’t work as well remotely. But the fear felt when you can’t easily look over and see people happily clacking away at their cubicle can be hard to shake too.
Consulting Service Available
I have over 20 years experience working remotely both in a consulting/freelance capacity and inside the confines of a corporation. I piloted two different remote work projects and also project managed a remote work setup.
I can help with leadership training, management training, technology consulting (though I don’t cover your security details much beyond talking with your IT team), and workplace cultural training around remote work. I can also help remote workers organize the best possible temporary workspace with a few suggestions for how to do this simply at home.
