Web Designer/HTML Editor
Job Responsibilities: The Web Designer will be a key member of the marketing team, reporting directly to the Manager of Creative Services Group and charged with designing, implementing and maintaining all corporate web assets. This person will drive all web related activities across the entire company.
The ideal candidate will:
ü Collaborate with team members under direction of Manager of the Creative Services and Manager of Information Technology.
ü Create vibrant graphics for interactive interfaces, web-based applications, and stand-alone applications to support interactive development teams.
ü Create cutting edge web page designs based on proper site construction and site plan to achieve client objectives
The ideal candidate will bring:
· 3-5 years minimum professional experience in web/interactive design.
· Ability to speak intelligently about their work and demonstrate range, experience and congruency throughout various media.
· Strong working knowledge of interactive design, including XHTML, CSS and Flash.
· Ability to design for identity / print a plus.
· Thorough understanding of typography and the ability to utilize type effectively.
· Ability to think conceptually and successfully execute a creative vision.
· Ability to take well to constructive criticism.
· Motivation to work individually and as a team in a fast-paced, time-sensitive business environment.
· Ability to self manage and follow directions accurately.
· Advanced HTML, Flash and JavaScript capabilities required including the demonstrable ability to ‘hand-edit’ HTML and JavaScript source code.
· Strong interpersonal, collaboration and teaming skills
· BS/BA required
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the IP Communications industry and be comfortable in a world of technology acronyms.
