It’s harder and harder to earn the attention of the people you want to reach with what you sell. Even if you have exactly what someone needs in a business or consumer setting, how will they know?

On top of this, nearly everyone in an organization must now “show up” on camera, on screen, online in a digital way. Face the camera. Emote. Be succinct and clear. Make sure you convey empathy and confidence and everything else.

Join Chris Brogan in (what else) a virtual workshop dedicated to walk everyone through the new landscape of using digital tools like video and audio and messaging to be who you are at a distance. We’ve all endured some less-than-optimal remote meetings at this point. Beyond teaching people to mute (what’s wrong with people?), what does it take to make the daily act of leadership work better, for the boss and for the teams.

Which tech should you use? Why? How? When should you make a meeting video versus audio? How to manage without just making people into bell-ring answerers. And so much more. This is the meat and potatoes of running virtual companies from the communications and remote leadership perspective, but every bit as vital to bring your teams into this workshop.

Runs as a one hour or three hour workshop – the longer version involving just a little more keyboard level interaction.

Selling and Marketing in a Distributed World

Any salesperson worth their salt already knows how to get on the phone. But we also know that face to face is often the preferred option. Body language, the opportunity for more personable experiences, and the chance to feel an affinity to the client simply be being in close proximity can’t be beat.

Zoom can be an amazing tool, and it can be the worst possible tool for selling or marketing. Learn how any of the various tools work to earn the right to sell and serve, and learn some unique methods of building up rapport, nurturing prospects through the sales cycle, and how to build out a partnership between marketing, sales, and whoever else needs to be involved to turn the prospect’s experience into a customer experience worth bragging about.
