It’s okay if we lose track of each other from time to time. I knojw that keeping up is a full time job in this world, and one that most of us don’t really have. To make it easier, I wanted to give you an update on me, my business, and what’s going on in 2016.

I’m a fairly simple guy. I have just a few jobs:
- Help people own their lives and businesses by giving them ACTIONABLE steps to take.
- Write business books.
- Speak professionally about those two things.
- Create project plans and courses at Owner Media Group.
- Promote our Unlimited and Insider membership projects.
Who do I work with?? That’s a great question!
The People We Support
I work with three basic groups:
- People who own their business and their lives and want to improve on both.
- People who are employees and want to own their lives at work and at home.
- Great companies who treat people like owners and want to equip them for success.
The kinds of people I spend my time with these days run from people running their own little consulting or design businesses, people who own offline businesses like resorts, plenty of professionals like doctors and lawyers and others who see their own patients and clients.
We work with big companies like Staples and Microsoft and others who seek to build relationships with owners like you. I love that opportunity because it’s great finding companies who are committed to supporting owners the way I am.
And we work with lots of associations, especially through professional speaking. I love getting the change to help people build up their tool sets and ideas to thrive in this evolving new marketplace.
But What Do We Talk About? How Do We Help?
There seem to be two major/main areas where people ask me to help:
How can I earn more customers? Especially through making media like blogging, podcasting, and email marketing. (A lot of my career has been build around this, and it’s surprising but fun that it’s what people want to talk about.)
How can I empower myself and others for personal leadership? We found that owners needed more help with systems, processes, and ways to keep focus. Through the work of our 20 Minute Plan JUMPSTART, we’ve seen huge positive response from folks at all levels of business with this process.
A Few Other Things
I’m working on a new business book. My last idea unraveled 100 pages in, and the follow up idea is something I’m still mulling over. But there’ll be a book finished this year (because I do that sort of thing).
I’ve done some advising to different companies over the last decade. I’m open to some more of that, but mostly with companies like I listed above: who work with owners and smaller businesses in some way (I’m open to advising HUGE companies if your buyers are either consumers or smaller businesses.)
