I have a secret weapon when it comes to building my business, and it’s something I definitely can’t train you to have. I love to share thoughts and ideas with people. I love creating posts. Text, video, audio. It’s all great for me. I love sharing.
My Secret Weapon
The beauty of such a secret weapon is that you can learn more about me and about my business and about whatever it is I do that helps you thrive. It’s great because it’s a way to stay in contact with you, a way to share another perspective, a way for you to “mind read” and learn how I look at challenges.
Mind Reading is Beautiful
I frankly can’t understand why people “hate” to blog. I don’t understand why it’s such a burden/chore for others to blog and create media. I could blog and podcast and make videos multiple times a day. I’m never without topics or ideas on what to publish. Frankly, I can’t WAIT to share with you everything that’s on my mind that I think might be helpful.
The opposite is hard to me. I can’t stand when I’m not encouraged to share my thoughts and ideas. I hate when people don’t ask me what I’d do if I were in their shoes, or ask me to help them solve some challenge.
I blog so that you can read my mind for free. I blog so that you can understand how I see the world. I blog so that you’ll see something in myself and realize that it’s similar to something inside you, and you’ll want to do more with me.
If You Hate Creating “Content”
If you hate creating content, maybe you should reconsider how you’re doing it. Maybe you could think about all the great ideas that you have in any given day, all the ways you come up with that would help those you serve, all the random thoughts you’ve had around asking this amazing question – “Why hasn’t anyone ______?”
Maybe you can practice simply. Shoot photos and post them. Make little notes to self, but then share them. Maybe you don’t have to worry if it’s a world class blog. Maybe you can just start where you are.
What say you?
I’ll be talking more about blogging and content creation in general in my newsletter this coming Sunday. Join me?
