Small tools I made for the way I work. Each one lives in your own Claude account, private to you.

For your day

Block Board

Plan your day like a stack of sticky notes

Most planners ask you to fill in a grid. Block Board lets you move your day around with your hands. Write a task, drop it in the pile, and drag it onto the hour where it belongs. When plans change (they will), pick the card up and put it somewhere else.

Block Board is a time-block planner I made for my own days. It lives in your Claude account, it is private to you, and it is yours to change.

See it in use

Drop it in, then drag it to an hour

Drop a task into the pile. Pick a color and keep going. Then drag a card onto an hour.

Set your focus for the week

Weekly notes stay in view all week. Shuffle a messy pile, or sort it into stacks by color.

Check it off and see your week

Check it off when it is done. Finished cards collect on the board. See your week at a glance.

What you get

  • Three 20-minute blocks in every hour. The board runs from 6 AM to 8 PM. Each hour holds three square sticky notes, so a day looks like what it is: a set of small, movable pieces.
  • A pile of cards. Every task starts as a sticky note in a loose heap. Write it down once and it waits there until you give it a time.
  • Color categories. Create your own (work, family, writing, whatever fits your life), choose a color for each, and see where your day goes at a glance.
  • A weekly focus row. Drop a few cards in the row under the date to keep your top priorities in view all week.
  • Shuffle, Next 5, and Sort. Stir up a stale pile, pull your next five tasks to the top, or stack cards into piles by color.
  • Add a break. Breaks are cards too, so rest earns a place on the board.
  • Done stamps. Check a card off and it gets stamped. Finished cards collect in a Done list you can reopen with one tap.
  • Repeat daily. Mark a card as a repeater and it returns to your pile each morning once it is done.
  • Today, Tomorrow, and Week views. Plan tomorrow tonight, then look back at the week to see what you finished and where your time went.
  • Works on a phone. Press and hold to drag, or tap a card and then tap a slot.

How a day goes

Open your board in the morning. Your pile holds everything that did not get done yesterday, because unfinished cards slide back overnight. Pick the three things that matter, drop them on your best hours, and fill in around them. Check cards off as you go. By evening, the Done list shows you what you built.

What you need

  • A Claude account on the Pro plan or higher

A short start-here guide comes with the download.

Who it is for

Block Board suits people who think better with their hands than with a calendar grid. If you run your day on sticky notes and half-finished lists, this gives you that feeling with a board that remembers for you.

For your projects

Long Board

A lightweight project board for people who get antsy around project management apps

Long Board is a very lightweight way to plan the work that runs for weeks or months. Each project gets one lane: the goal pinned at the left, then the steps and notes that get you there, laid out like sticky notes you can move around.

There are no fields to fill in, no status settings to keep current, no due-date columns and no dependency charts. If something has a deadline or waits on someone, write it on a card in your own words. Open it, move a few cards, close it. That is the whole routine.

I wanted an easygoing place to think about my projects, so I made one that stays out of the way.

See it in use

Start a project with a goal

Name the project, write the goal as the finish line, and pick a color. Then add steps and notes along its lane.

Arrange it on your phone

Drag cards into the order that fits, file loose ideas into a project, and put the details on the back of a card.

Check it off and keep it calm

Tick off steps and watch the goal card fill in. Hide finished steps, and archive a project when it wraps up.

What you get

  • One lane per project. A goal card sits at the left of each lane with the project name, the goal, and how many steps are done.
  • Steps and notes. Steps get a checkmark and a DONE stamp. Notes hold the stuff around the work: dates, decisions, who you are waiting on.
  • Drag to reorder. Left is now, right is later. Move the next step to the front whenever your plan changes, or move a card to another project.
  • Details on the back. Keep the front of a card short and put the longer thinking on the back.
  • Loose cards. Jot an idea in the tray at the top and file it into the right project later.
  • Calm controls. Collapse lanes you are not touching this week, hide finished steps, and archive projects when they wrap up. Archived projects keep every card, and you can restore them anytime.
  • Light and dark mode. One tap switches between them.
  • Works on a phone. Press and hold to drag, or tap a card and then tap where it should go.

How a week goes

Once a week, scan each lane. Tick off what got done, drag the next steps to the front, and add anything new. Notes about dates and dependencies sit right next to the step they affect, so you see them when they matter. Ten minutes is plenty.

Long Board pairs well with Block Board: plan the project here, then put today's steps on your Block Board.

Who it is for

Long Board suits people who get antsy around project management apps. If tools full of fields, statuses and charts make you want to close the tab, this gives you enough structure to keep a handful of bigger projects in view, with nothing extra to maintain. If you keep plans on sticky notes and in your head, it gives you a wall that remembers for you.
